An individual tax payer receives a tax credit of €777.00 in 2020, this amount is gradually reduced as salary increases above the tax credit threshold (see note below table).

Note that the amount of tax credit reduces by €20.00 for every €1,000.00 that exceeds the dependents tax credit threshold of €12,000.00 for taxpayers with €4.00 or less dependents.
